The Goal of Kimber Academy is:
To create Spiritual and Moral Leaders of Tomorrow

The Goals of Kimber Curriculum:
To build a Testimony of God
To Teach the Academic Subjects
To Create Opportunities to Serve

Individual Learning

Our curriculum is based on individual progress. We assess students based on knowledge learned, not on age level or time schedules. Your child will never have to worry about having mastered a skill and being ready to move on yet having to wait for the rest of the class. Neither will they experience the opposite situation where they have not yet mastered a skill and need further explanation, but the class has already moved on.

Each child gets to learn and discover at their own pace. As fast or slow as parent and child decide.

Religion and Morality in the Curriculum

The Kimber Academy curriculum was designed to give a child a full complete education. If our Father in Heaven gave us this earth and everything in it, why would we leave him out while we learned about it?

By including religion and morality in all curricular subjects, the students not only have a reason to learn and remember the information, but they learn 3 times faster. This was all researched by Dr. Kimber over almost a decade with many thousands of students.

Code of Conduct and Dress Standards

All Kimber students agree to a high standard of dress and behavior. This ultimately helps to invite the Spirit of God into the classroom environment. It also helps the students understand respect for themselves and for others.

Code of Conduct: (see Parenting Manual for specific details)
Conversation should be clean and appropriate.
Classroom behavior should be respectful.
Courtesy to others should always be exercised.

Dress Standards: (see Parenting Manual for specific details)

Students are to wear clothing that is clean, modest and age appropriate. Students are to avoid appearing sloppy or inappropriately casual.

Accreditation

Kimber Academy private schools are neither state nor nationally accredited. Accreditation means manipulation. When government regulates a system that feeds its own purposes, accreditation is not a benefit to the students. Colleges and Universities have recognized the ever increasing number of non-traditional students who have a knowledge-based rather than an attendance-based education. Each affiliate school is accredited through the National Glenn J. Kimber Academy office.

Testing

Unlike other testing companies, the Kimber testing procedures are not designed for student placement. These tests are diagnostic only. Their purpose is to track a student’s progress. The students cannot fail the test, nor can they achieve 100%.

There are really only two reasons to administer a test:
1. To see what was learned.
2. To see what to do next.

The Kimber Academy students are assesed through a rigorous test to see where the students are at in 22 academic areas.

Evaluating student progress every 90 days allows parents and students to see individual strengths and weaknesses in the learning process during the year. Students who are tested only once a year often find that it is too late to go back and learn what was missed.

Graduation Requirements

Kimber Academy graduation requirements are completely based on knowledge and achievements. Check out the Testing and Graduation page for more information.
